The Archaeology of Hair
I have a new publication out! After an inordinately long gestation period, I am pleased to announce the arrival of a new edited collection of short, interactive essays on 'archaeologies' of hair. The idea is to provide a basic introduction to hair as an interesting and important subject of archaeological study, by various means, and in various cultural contexts across time and space.
It's in Internet Archaeology, and open access, so I won't say any more; just go and check it out here.
