Secrets of the Vikings: Stories of the West

A short film we made for the History Channel in 2015, in association with the VIKINGS TV drama. This episode 'Stories of the West' considers how the Viking Age began, and how knowledge of western Europe reached Scandinavia. We focus particularly on the incredible archaeology of Scandinavia's first Viking town: Ribe, Denmark.

This series is to be followed up in 2016, by a TV series entitled 'The Real Vikings': watch this space!
