Banner Saga 2

You may have seen below that with Colleen Morgan and Tara Copplestone, Prof Julian Richards and I recorded a playthrough of the new viking-themed tactical role-playing game, Banner Saga 2. We played for quite a while, so if your vikings info-tainment in bit-sized chunks, here's a series of short videos.

This was a lot of fun to do, but I also think it's quite important. In the world of metrics in which we work, it's difficult to quantify the impact of this sort of thing (well, yes, you can count the hits, but what does that really tell you?), but in answering questions that are sent to us live on air, this sort of thing provides an opportunity for us to engage with interested parties wherever they are in the globe, whatever their background. I'm hoping to do a lot more of this.
